Daniel Heaps

Daniel is currently pursuing a BSc in Mathematics at the University of Warwick, where he has achieved an impressive average of 80.4% over his first two years. He excelled in his A Levels, earning A* grades in Maths and Further Maths. His academic prowess is further demonstrated by his participation in the British Mathematical Olympiad, where he ranked in the top third of competitors. Daniel has a strong foundation in mathematics, as evidenced by his academic achievements and his involvement in mathematical projects, such as his second-year coursework on Pell’s Equation, which received a high mark of 88%. His skills in Python and LaTeX complement his mathematical expertise.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Daniel has gained valuable teaching experience in a classroom setting. He has taught maths lessons at Immanuel Christian School, where he developed his classroom management and communication skills. He also volunteered with United Beach Missions, leading activities for children and young people over several summers, which helped him develop leadership and public-speaking abilities.
