Cookie Policy

Last updated 7 October 2026.

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie Tutorelli uses, what each one is for and how long it lasts.

Your choice

When you first visit, we ask whether you will accept anything beyond the cookies the site needs to work. Nothing optional is loaded until you say yes.

If you accept, you can change your mind at any time. Clear the cookies for this site in your browser and you will be asked again on your next visit.

Cookies the site needs to work

These are always on. Without them you could not log in or stay logged in, and we could not remember what you chose about the others.

Cookie What it does How long it lasts
tut_at Keeps you logged in 15 minutes
tut_rt Lets the site log you back in without asking for your password again 30 days
tut_role Remembers whether you are a parent, a student or a tutor, so the site shows you the right pages For your session
tut_unverified Remembers that you have not yet confirmed your email address For your session
tut_consent Remembers what you chose on this page 1 year

Cookies you can choose

Nothing in this section runs unless you accept it.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages people use and where they get stuck. We also use WhatConverts, which shows a tracking phone number in place of ours so we can tell which advert or search led to a call or an enquiry. If you accept analytics cookies, Google and WhatConverts set cookies that recognise your browser on future visits. Google's own documentation describes how long each lasts, and the longest is two years.

Advertising. We use a Meta pixel, which lets us measure whether our advertising works and show adverts to people who have visited this site. We also use Fraud Blocker, which checks whether a click on one of our adverts came from a real person, so we are not charged for fake clicks. If you accept advertising cookies, Meta sets cookies that recognise your browser across other sites, and Fraud Blocker records details of your browser and device to spot repeated clicks. If you do not accept, neither of them loads at all.

What Stripe and Zoom do

Stripe takes our payments. When you reach the payment page, Stripe sets its own cookies to detect fraud and to keep your payment secure. These are necessary to take a payment safely and they are set by Stripe, not by us. Stripe's cookie policy is on their website.

Zoom runs the lessons. Joining a lesson takes you to Zoom, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. We do not set any Zoom cookies from this site.

Children

This service is used by children. We do not use cookies to build a profile of a child, and we do not target advertising at children.

If you would rather block them yourself

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. If you block the ones this site needs to work, you will not be able to log in.

Changes

If we add a cookie or change what one is for, we will update this page and ask you to choose again.
